Mangum Cater on Main Studio and Gallery, 24 S Main St, Sparta, NC 336-372-2013

Robin Mangum Sr. has moved his pottery studio from Turkey Knob in to town! He has joined forces with his great friends and fellow potters, Robin and Daniel Cater, to put a new studio in their Main Street, Sparta gallery location.

Starting in 1974 Robin and Bet Mangum developed a national following producing one of a kind work as well as decorative and functional pottery. Since Bet's passing in 2009 Robin has been expanding the direction of his work and continuing a lifetime of a process.

The new studio is a continuation of a partnership that has been going since they opened the Main Street Gallery in 2014.

If you are interested in visiting the renowned pottery studios of Western North Carolina, be sure to include this one in your tour.
